The logo for the Rum River Chapter was created and designed by Steve Quaday.
Steve grew up in the Anoka area, and after graduating from Anoka High School, he attended the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities
campus.
It was at the U of M that he studied strategic communications
and creative advertising. Since graduation, he has completed several freelance projects through the university and other organizations.
The bridge used in the logo was inspired by an actual bridge
in Anoka MN, and embodied
the spirit of our chapter reaching out to those all around us. The waves below are fashioned from EKG tracings, not only because
EKG tracings are a recognizable medical symbol, but because the very heart of our critical care nursing community is our chapter
and we want everyone to see our heartbeat!
